How it all began...

Back in August 2011 with the growing success of World of Tanks, Wargaming decided to put some boats in the water too, announcing World of Battleships. In August 2012 it was renamed World of Warships, because well - its not just about Battleships, just as World of Tanks is not all about heavy tanks.

Nothing serious of course.

Aaaand of course the E3 2012 trailer - the thing most people were hyped about.

Unfortunately it was purely cgi, no gameplay or anything.

That is how it began...Now we wait for alpha. :)
